Heather A. Knight

Ms. Knight has traveled to Guatemala, Cuba, Scotland, Ireland and France to study vernacular architecture, traditional building arts and lime-based technology. She was a 2002 American Lime Conference Scholar and recipient of the International Lime Tour Scholarship. Ms. Knight received her B.A. in Political Science with a double minor in History and Louisiana Studies from Tulane University. She holds a Master of Preservation Studies from Tulane University School of Architecture (2006). Ms. Knight was a Research Assistant for the Building Arts Research Project sponsored by the Regional Louisiana Folklife Office and is a member of the New Orleans Crafts Guild. Ms. Knight is a standing member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans and the American Building Limes Forum.
